I’m Elizabeth—an agriculturalist, a strategic communicator, and a creative at heart.

A little more about myself...
I grew up in agriculture before I ever learned to communicate on its behalf.
Raised on my family's commercial cow calf operation in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, agriculture shaped much of how I grew up and how I see the world today. Alongside raising cattle and Quarter Horses, I grew up understanding the importance of caring for the land and natural resources that make agriculture possible.
That upbringing taught me that agriculture is far more than a livelihood. It is a way of life rooted in responsibility, hard work, care for the land and animals, and a deep connection to the people and communities around you. To me, that way of life is sacred, shaped by generations of people who understand both the privilege and responsibility of caring for something larger than themselves.
My experiences in agricultural communications, legislative policy, journalism and creative work have since shown me how important it is to connect that firsthand perspective with the larger conversations shaping the industry. Whether through policy, written communication, design or visual storytelling, I am interested in helping agricultural perspectives reach the people, audiences and decision makers who need to understand them.
That intersection is the foundation of Land & Letter. It brings together where I come from and the work I am building toward, connecting agriculture and policy through communication that is strategic, creative and grounded in purpose.
Why Land & Letter?
Land represents the foundation. It represents agriculture, the people who produce, and the communities and industries connected to it.
Letter represents communication. It encompasses the written word, policy, messaging, journalism, design and storytelling.
The & represents connection. It is where agriculture meets communication, where policy meets creativity and where perspective becomes a message people can understand.
Land & Letter brings together my interests in agricultural policy, strategic communication and visual storytelling under one identity.
PURPOSE · ADVOCACY · STRATEGY · CREATIVITY · CONNECTION
These are more than words behind the brand. They represent how I approach my work.
I believe communication should have purpose. Advocacy should begin with understanding. Good ideas require strategy. Complex issues benefit from creativity. Meaningful communication should ultimately create connection.
